June 14, 2016 | Category: New Resources
Today WESTAC released a summary report from its April 8, 2016, Roundtable on West Coast Marine Spill Prevention, Preparedness and Response. The report aims to capture views of presenters and participants. It is not a comprehensive report on the state of the industry. The document reflects comments and perspectives around the table. Quotes have not been attributed as the event was held under Chatham House Rule.
From time to time, WESTAC hosts roundtables to establish facts and open dialogue on critical and timely issues important to the transportation sector. The goals of this roundtable were first to provide an update on the current state of the West Coast Marine Spill Prevention, Preparedness, and Response regime. The second goal was to encourage discussion on continuous improvement in the spill regime and finally understand and share different points of view.
